Granite Assembly

Large granite boulders, smoothed by weathering, gather before the sea. Their rounded, sculptural forms seem to compose a family of inanimate figures, defined by the contrast between illuminated surfaces and deep shadows.
The square format concentrates the scene on the rocks, limiting the sky and sea to background elements. The intense light, managed with a closed aperture (f/6.3) and a fast shutter speed, enhances the texture of the stone and the volumetric presence of individual forms.
