Frame on the Landscape
by Davide Terrile·Support
Three figures look out from a panoramic terrace, framed by two imposing architectural volumes. Their silhouettes observe the vastness of the landscape below, a plain horizon under a cloudy sky, introducing a human scale between construction and nature.
The vertical composition is constructed as a visual opening between the metallic masses on the sides. The choice of a narrow aperture (f/13) keeps both the foreground details of the structure and the distant landscape in focus, uniting the different planes of the image.
