A rocky coast extends into a calm bay, from which sharp-shaped rocks emerge. The lateral light, coming from the right, silhouettes most of the rocks and defines their clean outlines against the reflections on the water.
The composition uses a 30mm focal length to include the foreground, sea, and sky, creating a balance between the elements. An aperture of f/7.1 provides a great depth of field, while a shutter speed of 1/800s freezes the texture of the sea surface.
