Geometries of Waiting

Human figures are distributed along the severe lines of monumental architecture, each absorbed in their own silence. Light defines volumes and solids, creating a mosaic of private waiting in a public, shared space. Traditions and modernity stand side by side without intersecting.
The wide aperture (f/2) isolates the different planes of the scene, guiding the eye through the complex geometry. The very fast shutter speed (1/1250 s) crystallizes every gesture, transforming the subjects into compositional elements of a still and suspended moment.
