The Cliff's Profile

The sun sets over the sea, silhouetting the dark shapes of the rocky coast. A wooden fence follows the terrain, guiding the eye towards the horizon. To the left, a rock takes on the appearance of a human profile, an immobile presence observing the expanse of water.
The composition is built on a diagonal that separates the dark mass of the land from the sea and the sky. The use of a wide-angle lens (24mm) and a closed aperture (f/10) allows for the inclusion of both the nearby coast and the vastness of the landscape, while the strong backlighting transforms the cliff into a defined silhouette.
