The tables and chairs of the Brasserie L'Aficion occupy an empty street corner. The shutters are almost all closed, but an open window on the upper floor breaks the uniformity of the facade, a possible vantage point over the scene.
The frontal framing and the choice of a narrow aperture (f/13) give the image a great depth of field, making the entire surface sharp. This compositional choice flattens the perspective, transforming the building's facade into a textual and graphic surface.
