The Wait

A body barely emerges from the darkness, outlined by a cut of light that isolates it. The wait becomes a condition of space, a geometry of silence and suspension. Every identity is consigned to the shadows, exposed only as a silhouette.
The extremely fast shutter speed and wide aperture (f/1.8) allow for selective exposure of the highlights. This technical choice generates a strong contrast that erases the context and transforms the figure into pure form, defined only by a subtle luminous boundary.
