The Balance of the Cloud

A road carves a path between two escarpments, indicating a direction that disappears beyond a drop-off. Suspended in the void between the two landmasses, a single cloud seems to converse with the geometry of the electrical cables that cross the upper part of the image.
The composition is built around a strong visual center, where the cloud acts as a focal point. The lines of the road and the cables create a grid that organizes the space, while the high-contrast black and white isolates the shape of the cloud against the sky.
