The River Line
by Davide Terrile·Support
A riverfront stretches out in a vanishing perspective, punctuated by the repetition of streetlamps and the low wall separating it from the water. On the opposite bank, a line of trees meets a cloudy sky, while small human figures and a boat enliven the scene.
The composition is built around the diagonal line of the low wall and the rhythmic succession of streetlamps, which guide the viewer's eye into the distance. The use of a very narrow aperture (f/16) ensures a deep depth of field, keeping the entire scene sharp from foreground to background.
