The Guardian's Rest

A van rests at the edge of a dirt road, a motionless sentinel in the Armenian landscape. On the hill, stone houses and flowering trees mark a discreet presence, a world suspended in time.
The f/10 aperture anchors the vehicle to the landscape, extending sharpness to the distant hills and integrating every element of the scene. The extremely fast shutter speed crystallizes the intense light, while the high ISO sensitivity introduces a fine grain that enhances the texture of the surfaces.
