Inner Horizon

There is a point where the gaze surrenders and turns inward, seeking shelter. The landscape behind expands, immense and silent. All the weight of the sky rests on that fragile curve.
The f/4 aperture at close range creates a selective depth of field, isolating the child's profile and transforming the landscape into pure abstraction. The extremely fast shutter speed (1/4000s) freezes the instant and manages the daylight, sculpting volumes with a sharp contrast that sacrifices detail in the shadows in favor of the subject's intimacy.
