Observers on the Plain
by Davide Terrile·Support
On a vast plain, several groups of people equipped with tripods and cameras are facing the horizon. Their attention seems directed towards a colony of birds visible along the waterline, in an act of observation that unites them in space.
The composition is built on horizontal bands that define the sky, water, and land, emphasizing the vastness of the scene. The choice of a narrow aperture (f/14) produces a deep depth of field, making the details of the figures and the horizon sharp, integrating the subjects into the landscape.
