Walk on the Ocean

Man's path is a stone ribbon, a boundary between order and the ocean's breath. Under a sky swollen with clouds, daily life flows parallel to the sea surge, unaware or perhaps comforted by its immense presence. Figures move along the balustrade, the last outpost before the horizon.
The use of a closed aperture (f/10) ensures deep sharpness across all planes, from the foreground stroll to the distant coast. The fast shutter speed (1/500s) crystallizes the movement of waves and people, rendering a suspended scene of great legibility.
