Along an unmarked road, a truck has long since stopped. An immobile witness to passages and seasons, its metallic carcass is a fixed point in the landscape, a boundary between the earth and the sky cut by cables.
The f/10 aperture, allowed by high ISO sensitivity, keeps the entire scene in focus, from the vehicle in the foreground to the hill in the background, treating the subject and its environment as a single body. The very fast shutter speed freezes the harsh light of the day, delivering rich and detailed texture on every surface.
