Bare branches form a dense filter in front of the New York Public Library facade. Its classical architecture contrasts with the grid of a skyscraper in the background, introducing a tension between organic lines and urban geometries from different eras.
The composition is built on multiple planes that compress depth, juxtaposing the texture of the branches with architectural geometries. An aperture of f/5.6 helps keep the entire scene in focus, allowing for a clear reading of all visual levels.
