Threshold of Light

At the edge, where ancient stone guards the darkness, a figure waits. Light outlines its gesture, a moment suspended between the world and the silence of faith.
The closed aperture (f/11) ensures a deep depth of field, rendering both the figure and the ancient portal carvings with equal sharpness. The very fast shutter speed (1/5000s) freezes the suspended gesture, while the higher ISO sensitivity allows for managing the scene's wide dynamic range.
