States of Passage

On a ship's deck, two states of a journey coexist without touching. The body abandoned in sleep and the gaze lost towards the coast, either already distant or yet to be reached. A suspended time, marked by the sun and the movement of the water.
An aperture of f/8 extends the depth of field, linking the passengers to the mainland in a single narrative plane. The intense light, managed with a fast shutter speed (1/250s), sculpts forms and etches shadows, transforming the scene into a graphic composition of geometries and contrasts.
