A path, the sea

A stone path runs along the cliff, protected by a rustic wooden fence. Its line leads the eye towards the sea, where the sun is about to reach the horizon.
The wide-angle focal length (24mm) constructs the scene on multiple planes, from the texture of the rock in the foreground to the horizon. The use of a closed aperture (f/10) ensures extended sharpness throughout the image's depth, translating light and matter into a rich grayscale.
